1Request a review from Google (the real fix)
- Go to Google Search Console → add & verify your domain → Security Issues report. If flagged, you'll see the reason and a "Request Review" button.
- Or submit directly at Google Safe Browsing's report page — choose "Report a false positive" and enter your site URL.
- Reviews usually take 1–3 days.
2Common reasons cannabis apps get flagged
- Words like "phishing", fake login pages, or a redirect chain that looks suspicious to Google's bots.
- Your NDA gate or any page that mimics a login/password form before users can proceed can trip the phishing detector.
- Check the NDA page and any auth-gated pages for anything that could look like credential harvesting to an automated crawler.
3While waiting for the review
- Users can click "Details" → "Visit this unsafe site" to bypass, but that's not a real fix.
- Verify your domain in Search Console so you get alerted to future flags automatically.
